Meet Kevin Huang

Kevin Chih-Yao Huang graduated from Stanford University with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. He has more than 10 years of experience working with computational simulations and is currently a data scientist building data platforms and applying machine learning and artificial intelligence to manufacturing, IoT devices, and healthcare. During his work at Soraa Inc., a leading LED semiconductor manufacturing, he developed data storage, data pipelines and analytics engines for the semiconductor fab industrial scale equipment. He also led the development of IR detectors, ambient light sensors and audio microphone algorithms for real-time occupancy detection in IoT devices. His current focus is applying deep learning and artificial intelligence to structured data predictions in healthcare by developing automated model training pipelines and real-time predictive services.
