Join us in Tabor’s MakerLab: Design, Build, Hack, and Innovate.

Who: Students entering 6th-10th grade

What: Five half-day sessions focusing on modern maker skills

When: June 24-28, 2019 - 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Cost: $250 ($100 non-refundable deposit required)

Enjoy Making!

We’ll use everything from computer-aided machines to old-school hammers and drills - whatever it takes to go from idea to gadget in hand. Whether you’ve never built anything or you like to tinker all day, we’ll level-up your skills and spark your imagination. And we promise to have fun while doing it.

Program Features
  • Access to Tabor Academy’s makerspace - the Tabor MakerLab
  • Skills training in 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics, and hand tools
  • Computer Aided Design guidance in Inkscape and Tinkercad
  • Take-home projects completed each day to show off your maker skills
  • Expert instructors who teach engineering and coach technical theater
  • Mid-morning snacks to keep everyone focused and fueled

  • Motion activated booby traps
  • 3D printed light-up family photos
  • Finger-jointed wooden card boxes
  • Custom engraved dice
  • Escape room puzzles
