Tabor Hockey School

2022 Session Dates: August 22-25

Co-ed clinic for ages 7-14
With a student/instructor ratio of 7:1, The Tabor Hockey School is dedicated to improving each student’s individual skills and hockey knowledge. Morning on ice sessions focus on skating, puck handling, shooting and other skills, while the afternoon sessions are dedicated to improving read and react skills and on-ice awareness through small area games and team play. Open to students in grades 2-9 (entering this fall).

Daily Schedule
(8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
  • On-Ice Session #1: Individual Skill Development
  • Off-Ice Activities: Shooting, Puck Handling, Fitness, Classroom
  • Lunch Break
  • On-Ice Session #2: Small Ice Games/Scrimmages
  • Off-Ice Activities: Shooting, Puck Handling, Fitness, Classroom
  • On-Ice Session #3: Tactics and Team Play

  • Over 3 hours on ice every day in the state-of-the-art Travis Roy Rink
  • Superior instruction with 7:1 ratio

Meet the Staff

Director: Gerry Dineen
A 1989 graduate of Middlebury College and a native of Bourne, MA, Gerry has been the head boys’ hockey coach at Tabor since 1999. While at Middlebury, Gerry was an All-New England Defenseman and a standout baseball player who played for the Bourne Braves in the Cape Cod Baseball League. After college, Gerry played hockey professionally in Europe before returning to the USA where he has been teaching and coaching in the prep school ranks since 1991 (before Tabor, he was the head boys’ hockey coach at Vermont Academy and Brooks School).

In addition, the staff will consist of a number of experienced college coaches, prep coaches and players who were chosen not only for their ability to teach the game, but also for their desire to work with players and to pass on their love of the game.


Cost: $650
includes camp jersey and souvenir t-shirt.

non-refundable deposit of $100 required. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the start of the program.)

Next Steps
Once your application has been processed, you will receive an enrollment confirmation email which will include important details to help you prepare. Just prior to the start of the program, you will receive an email which will include information on “What to Bring” and other pertinent information.

An Athletic Trainer will be on site. This camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, HIPPA, and be licensed by the local Board of Health.
