Jeffrey Moore

Jeffrey Moore

Associate Athletic Director / Head Football Coach
Jeff became the Head Football coach at Tabor for the 2023 season. In his first year Tabor had their best record in since joining the ISL, tying for most wins in the league for the regular season. Jeff came to Tabor from the University of Massachusetts, where he was the Tight Ends Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. During his time there, Tight End Josiah Johnson was named All Independent. UMass also had its highest rated recruiting class. Prior to UMass, Jeff was the Head Coach at Loomis Chaffee for three years. In his first season they tripled their wins from the year prior. In his final season, they were New England Champions for the first time in school history. That season they broke multiple school records including single season wins, offensive yardage, sacks, tackles for loss, and a few others. In those three seasons, Loomis had 4 High School All Americans, about 35 players go on to play college football, and about 30 go on to play at the Division 1 level.

Jeff spent two years as the Head Coach at St Thomas More. He took a program that was 5-34 the five past seasons and had consecutive 6-3 seasons. It was their best consecutive seasons in over a decade. In those 2 seasons St. Thomas More had 2 High School All Americans, sent 40 players to play college football, and 30 at the Division 1 level. Jeff coached at two colleges prior to St. Thomas More. He was the Video Coordinator and Defensive Quality Control working with the Defensive Backs at Yale University. Jeff also spent two years at Amherst College. One year he assisted with the Wide Receivers with the other coaching the Runing Backs. In his two years at Amherst, they were 15-1 and two time NESCAC Champions.

Jeff lives on campus with his wife Brittany, two daughters Sophie and June, and their chocolate lab Ollie.
