We Are One Community

Our Tabor family is a national and global one – 13,000 parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends around the world. We strive to keep our connections strong and to uphold Tabor’s ethos in our lives, work, and communities. Most important of all, we are here to support current students – the youngest members of the Tabor family – as a network of passionate advocates, volunteers, and financial supporters.

There are many ways to take part in Tabor and thereby in the development of your child. We invite you to explore and get involved. Together, through Tabor, we are one community.

Get Involved!

  • Come see your student in action: two Family Weekends, athletic contests, concerts, plays, art exhibitions, and community events.
  • Attend parent events: Parents Nights Out, Class Dinners and various parent receptions around the country and around the world, to name a few! View our Parent Dates 2018-19 for a list of all scheduled parent events.
  • Coming to a city near you: Watch for invitations to Tabor events in your area. These are a great way to meet fellow parents and Tabor alumni, and to hear the latest news from school.

Join a Culture of Philanthropy

Giving has always played a major role in our community beginning with our founder, Elizabeth Taber, in 1876. Each year, thousands of supporters contribute to the Fund for Tabor, and others also help build facilities or strengthen the Tabor endowment. Within this tradition of giving, parents, grandparents, and past parents provide more than a third of all dollars given to Tabor each year
