Who: Students entering 6th-10th grade
What:Five half-day sessions focusing on modern maker skills
When:June 24-28, 2019 - 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Cost: $250 ($100 non-refundable deposit required)
We’ll use everything from computer-aided machines to old-school hammers and drills - whatever it takes to go from idea to gadget in hand. Whether you’ve never built anything or you like to tinker all day, we’ll level-up your skills and spark your imagination. And we promise to have fun while doing it.
Access to Tabor Academy’s makerspace - the Tabor MakerLab
Skills training in 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics, and hand tools
Computer Aided Design guidance in Inkscape and Tinkercad
Take-home projects completed each day to show off your maker skills
Expert instructors who teach engineering and coach technical theater
Mid-morning snacks to keep everyone focused and fueled
