Tabor has always had a strong tradition of Annual Fund and Reunion volunteers. In the school year 2017-2018, ninety-two alumni agreed to help with those two crucial areas. We have now added more structure to the group, calling volunteers Class Representatives. To the right you will see each decade listed, and if you click the decade, you will see that each class's Representative(s): Some classes have a full compliment of representatives, while others have none. Class Representatives undertake a number of initiatives: locating "lost" classmates, developing reunion programming, soliciting class notes, posting news on the alumni Facebook page "Friends of Tabor", to name a few. All of this is done in the name of building a stronger sense of class community; welcoming as many classmates as possible under the tent.
A few more requests from the Alumni Board:
- Each class can use more Class Representatives. If you are interested please give Alumni Relations a call and they will list you under your class. The more Reps we have, the stronger our level of engagement with each other and the school.
- Class Reps are volunteers who's mission is to create a stronger sense of engagement with their fellow classmates. This is usually done through peer-to-peer calls and emails. PLEASE, support your classmates in their efforts to build a stronger class community.
