Tabor Academy was thrilled to host the internationally acclaimed a cappella group, Out of the Blue from Oxford University, for a special performance on Thursday, March 28. This event, generously underwritten by Board Chair Regina Shakin, took place during Tabor’s weekly All School Meeting. The group performed in the Fireman Performing Arts Center in Hoyt Hall that morning, captivating the audience with their harmonious renditions of popular songs and their dynamic stage presence.
Their lively performance had students tapping and clapping along as the hoodie-clad group belted out tunes from performers including Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys, as well as medleys and musical mashups from movies like “Grease” and “Frozen.”
Following the performance, Out of the Blue conducted an exclusive workshop with some of Tabor’s singing groups, sharing their expertise and inspiring students with their passion for music.
