Fantastic Beginnings: A Celebration of Artistic Expression and Growth

The Braitmayer Gallery celebrates the opening of Fantastic Beginnings, a vibrant student art exhibit showcasing the creativity and technical growth unfolding within the Visual Arts program. The collection includes pieces from a variety of mediums, including photography, painting and drawing, sculpture, and metalwork, and offers visitors a glimpse into the artistic foundations students are building this year.

"Fantastic Beginnings is a show to mark both the end of the first term of work and the exciting start of this year’s art journey in all the Visual Arts studios. For some of the artists represented, these works will be their final completed drawing, painting, photo, or ceramic object at the start of their senior year and the completion of their Arts requirement. For others, it marks the momentous start of this year's creative journey at our school. All levels of investment in the arts are present, from the first efforts to the committed art maker. We recognize the time and accomplishment of the fantastic beginning of our art makers at the start of this academic year," notes Visual Arts Program Coordinator Tricia Smith.

The exhibit features work from students in Tabor's studio art, ceramics, and photography classes and will be on display until January 30, 2026.
