Finding Academic Success at TA

In late July we began helping our incoming students learn more about Tabor, meet some faculty and returning students, and ask questions. We started with a co-curricular Zoom gathering event where new students could join program heads and some returning students, and listen to some information about various activities offered to them. These ranged from Athletics to Visual and Performing Arts, to Student Government, Community Service, and the Waterfront.

This week we are hosting an event to help incoming students uncover how to find academic success at Tabor. As a part of our work to pre-orient our incoming Seawolves this year, we are offering another evening of Zoom gatherings this Thursday, August 13th, at 8:00 pm EST. This event will be hosted by our academic department chairs, a colleague, and a few returning students. We are asking incoming students to register here. You will have the opportunity to join four 15-minute sessions with four different departments. Students will be asked to join a new room on the quarter-hour. We hope that each student will have the time to hear about subjects they love and subjects they are curious about or have not explored yet.

Please keep an eye out for the Zoom room information in your Tabor email on Thursday morning. We are excited to welcome you all in the Zoom rooms on Thursday evening!
