Even though we are unable to meet our newly admitted Seawolves on campus for Revisit Days, we have created an online and social media experience that we hope will be the next best thing to meeting in person. So far we have the following options for Bringing Tabor to You!
STARTING TOMORROW: Join our Instagram Q&A!
On Thursday, March 19th, our Instagram Stories will feature a team of Tabor student helpers, admissions officers, and others who will be on hand to answer your questions. This will be a lot of fun and we can’t wait to begin!
Connect With a Seawolf (Most likely a top priority for many of you!): Prospective students and parents can identify the types of personal outreach from the Tabor community that would be most helpful to them. Using a Google Form, students and parents can ask to be connected to fellow students/parents, teachers/coaches so they can get their questions answered personally. (For example, would students like to hear from a 9th grade boarding student? A certain academic department chair or a coach? A day student? A Seawolf who joined as a new 11th grader?)
Enjoy #TaborTV: A library of video content showcasing every possible aspect of campus life is now available! Content will also be served up to our social media channels.
#TaborFactivities: If you are looking for opportunities to create, enjoy the interactive activities we have posted on our web page! Not only do they showcase unique aspects of Tabor, but they give you a chance to learn more about Tabor Academy at the same time! (Coloring, anyone?)
Video Presentations and Live Q&A: Presentations prepared by members of Tabor’s senior leadership team will soon be posted with dates to participate in a live Q&A Session via Zoom remote conferencing technology.
Virtual Panel Discussions: Online panel discussions for prospective students to meet our current students and ask questions. These will also happen via Zoom. Stay tuned for dates!
We will contact admitted students via email and social media to share these opportunities as they come online.
We are so eager to meet our new students and families, answer their questions, and get excited about the great new year ahead.
This is new and different, and it will be fun: Jump in and start exploring!
As of today, we have suspended reunion registration. With that said, we continue to plan for Reunion Weekend, June 5-7. There is no predicting how the coronavirus will spread or when it will abate, however. We are closely monitoring developments to help us make sound, intentional decisions. In the event of cancelation, all Tabor fees associated with Reunion Weekend will be refunded.
