Signing National Letters of Intent

This year, Tabor is fortunate to have eight Seawolves moving on to participate in Division I or II collegiate athletics.  We are proud of our student-athletes for their achievements and celebrated with a signing ceremony Wednesday evening.

As is customary at Tabor, our student-athletes were surrounded by their family as they signed their letters in the presence of coaches, teammates, and friends.  It was truly a momentous occasion for these young adults and we wish them luck as they further their education and continue to compete at the next level.

Congratulations to the following Student-Athletes:

Catherine Barry (Hingham, MA), University of South Carolina - Women’s Soccer
Hadley Bosworth (S. Dartmouth, MA), Quinnipiac University - Women’s Lacrosse
Lindsay Dawson (Barrington, RI), Bentley University - Women’s Lacrosse
Jack Hutchison (Jamestown, RI), Drexel University - Men’s Crew
William Milewski (Mount Pleasant, SC), Furman University - Men’s Lacrosse
Clare O’Leary (Hingham, MA), Boston University - Women’s Hockey
Julia Shaunessy (Duxbury, MA), Boston University - Women’s Hockey
Kylie Swider (Portsmouth, RI), Villanova University - Women’s Basketball

We expect to learn about other Seawolves who will participate in collegiate athletics throughout the college admissions cycle and will celebrate all our college-bound student-athletes in the spring.

Go Seawolves!

With the persistence of environmental change, people across the world are experimenting daily with different adaptive methods on the ground. With support from National Geographic and The Redford Center, filmmaker Alizé Carrère has been documenting innovative human adaptations in places such as Madagascar, Bangladesh, Vanuatu, Norway and the United States. From floating farms in Bangladesh to ice pyramids in the Himalayas, these stories reveal incredible ingenuity and resourcefulness in the face of environmental adversity. Alizé shares her experiences from the field looking at these unique examples of human adaptation, reminding us of the most important trait that has allowed for our continued survival on earth.
