Another all out, team effort to secure a spot in the NEPSAC Class A Finals tomorrow against Sacred Heart. From the first whistle the girls were fierce and focused. Just 4 minutes into play we found the back of the net on an offensive penalty corner. Hotchkiss was not going to go away easily and held us scoreless until the last 10-minutes of the first half where we are able to covert on two more corners. Our defense was steadfast led by Christine Steege. Skylar Irving, Ava McGaffigan and Natalie Nemes each had many carries out of our defensive end. With time about to expire in the first half Hotchkiss drew a corner and scored with no time remaining on the clock. We went into the half up 3-1. There was parity in the second half; each team having chances to score. Both Hotchkiss and Tabor converted on a corner making the final score 4-2 Tabor. From the bench to the field every player contributed to the win today, and we cannot wait to take on Sacred Heart tomorrow at 11:00am at The Rivers School. Let’s go Seawolves!!
