Baseball Alumni Play Locally

Three Tabor alums are playing baseball locally this summer. You might want to go out and catch a game! We are very proud of our alumni players and hope you can get out to support them this summer. These are great leagues and provide great family entertainment.

New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL)
Jeremiah Adams '16 is playing with the New Bedford Bay Sox until June 28, when he returns to West Point for training. Jeremiah played 3rd and 1st base at West Point this year and they beat Navy in the best of 3 Patriot League Final for a berth in the College World Series. Unfortunately, Army was knocked out in the Regionals. Get out to see him before he leaves at Paul Walsh Field at 230 Hathaway Boulevard (New Bedford HS). Visit their website for the schedule this season.

Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL)

Jared Shuster ’17 is playing with the Orleans Firebirds and made his first start this past Sunday (Father's Day) going 5 innings and surrendering only 1 hit with 4 Ks. He earned the win. Jared will be returning to Wake Forest for his junior year in the fall and will be MLB Draft eligible in June 2020. The Orleans Firebirds play their home games at 78 Eldredge Park Way in Orleans, MA. Visit their website to learn more. Jared will most likely make his next start on Sunday, June 23 at Eldredge Park in Orleans. If anyone is interested in knowing when Jared is scheduled to pitch, contact Coach Ackerman at and he will send you e-mail updates.

Cranberry League (CBL)
Tucker Hrasky '18 is also a pitcher, playing for the Rockland Cardinals. Their games are played at Rockland Stadium at 126 Taunton Ave. in Rockland. Here is the link to the CBL.

In other baseball news, PJ Poulin ’15 is playing for the Asheville Tourists, which is the Class A Minor League Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. You can listen to their games via their website at as their games are not televised. PJ spent last summer playing with the Boise Hawks, the Colorado Rockies short season Class A Affiliate, after being drafted in the June 2018 MLB Draft in the 11th round by the Rockies out of UCONN. He moved up to Asheville this season. Enjoy this link to his MiLB statistics here.
