TOM SARRIS ’78
I was so honored to be invited to induct Tabor great Bruce Cobbold into Tabor’s Athletic Hall of Fame. In addition to his many academic and administrative contributions, Bruce was an outstanding coach.
He founded the cross-country program in 1969 and coached the 1977 team that I co-captained with York Mario ’78, to its first undefeated season with a 15-0 record. He also guided the Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity Crew teams to victories at the Head of the Charles and New England Rowing Championships. Congratulations, Bruce. Well deserved!
