Tim Blake ’62

In 1961, I was Co-Captain of Tabor’s Gummere League Championship team. I was one of 6 Tabor classmates to attend Denison University in Ohio in the Fall of 1962. I played soccer at Denison for 4 years and won the NCAA Mideast Championships in 1962 and 1965. In October 2025, 8 members of the 1965 team were honored by the university at halftime of a soccer game against Kenyon College. Thanks to Tabor and the coaching of James Gowing, I was well prepared for university soccer. Thank you, Tabor!
