RYCK LENT ’68

In June 2022 I traveled to Tabor for the in-person Class of ’72 50th reunion, and took part in the memorial service which honored, among the 146 deceased alumni listed in the leaflet, my brother Christopher Lent ’72, who died from pancreatic cancer in April 2020. Two of his classmates, Stan Godwin ’72 and Peter Moore ’72, reminisced with me about Christopher’s Tabor years and what came after. Ted Gelsthorpe ’65 came along as well—his first visit back since graduation. We had a chance to speak with Head of School Tony Jaccaci, who noted the large number of alumni memorialized due to the absence of reunions during the pandemic. Both the service and the weather made it a beautiful day.
