ART REID ’64
To My Friends at Tabor: I always enjoy sharing my news with you. Not only reaching out to my classmates from time to time, over the years since graduating in 1964, but to others who continue to have the good fortune of having spent a few years at Tabor. Thankful for my three years which prepared me for so many experiences, allowed me to travel the world, meet so many interesting people, be healthy, and most important to have wonderful parents, sister, wife, children, and grandchildren. My home is in a very nice neighborhood in Simi Valley which is just north of Los Angeles. We have beautiful hummingbirds and other birds as pets in the garden. I recently returned from central Mexico, in the state of Michoacan where the highlight of the trip was a hike to see the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary high in the Sierra. Some of you have probably heard of the amazing migration of the monarchs from Canada through the United States to Mexico. Amazing to see millions covering the trees at an elevation of over 5,000 feet. A great experience. I look forward to returning to Marion sometime soon.
