Alex Shojaei ’77

After a fulfilling career of 42 years in the field of engineering, I am writing to share the exciting news that I sold my firm, Capitol Engineering Group, and will retire in August 2026. My time since our days at Tabor has been quite a journey. The foundation and memories from our shared experiences at Tabor have stayed with me throughout my career. I particularly remember learning the concept of “free thinking” in Mr. Roller’s history class, which first sparked my interest in entrepreneurship. I look forward to the next chapter, which will include spending more time with family, traveling, volunteering, or maybe even picking up a hobby. I am looking forward to the summer of 2027 and becoming an alumni Admiral. Cheers!
