Tabor Welcomes Three New Trustees to Board

Tabor Academy is proud to announce the addition of three distinguished professionals to its Board of Trustees. These new members bring a wealth of experience across the realms of higher education, finance, and management, promising to contribute significantly to the school’s mission and vision.
John W. Buckley
John W. Buckley, already serving on the board, is the Vice President for Enrollment at Fordham University, where he oversees undergraduate recruitment and enrollment processes. With a career entirely within higher education at Fordham, Buckley has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to student-centered leadership. His accolades include serving as President of the National Catholic College Admission Association and being recognized as College Counselor of the Year by the New York State Association for College Admission Counseling. Buckley's dedication to service and learning, and ability to leverage his extensive experience proves to benefit the Tabor community.
Alexander R. Marx P’26
Alexander R. Marx, current Tabor parent, is set to join the Board in Spring 2024. He serves as a Managing Partner at Carisbrooke Consulting Group, specializing in advising financial technology organizations. With a rich history in finance, including roles at Fidelity Investments and Deutsche Bank, Marx brings to Tabor a deep understanding of financial management and strategic planning. His involvement in educational boards, including the Fessenden School and the Cap and Gown Club of Princeton University, underscores his commitment to educational excellence. Marx is a Princeton University alumnus, emphasizing his strong foundation in leadership and governance.
Kenneth K. Quigley, Jr.
Kenneth K. Quigley, Jr., also joining in Spring 2024, served as the President of Curry College until his retirement in July 2023 and has a notable background in education and law. With teaching experience at Suffolk and Bentley Universities, and an impressive list of service on various educational and community boards, Quigley's expertise in education management and community engagement will be invaluable to Tabor. His recognition for excellence in education by Boston College and his role as an experienced public company director highlight his broad leadership skills and dedication to advancing educational opportunities.
