Student leadership is integral to the success of Tabor Academy, and the highest level of student leadership belongs to the Co-Heads of School. These positions have a strong influence when it comes to making decisions and addressing concerns in their conversations with faculty and administration.
This year, the Co-Head election process occurred in April and ten candidates from the Class of 2024 ran. Eden Alberich, Julian Badger, Sam Barry, Taylor Darby, Maddi Koenig, Fred Lin, Annalise Lydon, Lilah Saunders, Austin Silpa-archa, and Richard Ye stood in front of the entire Tabor community during an All School Meeting and spoke about what this position meant to them. After an initial round of voting, finalists then had the opportunity to speak during Chapel about their goals should they be elected. Each candidate showed a strong devotion to their student body and offered great ideas on how to improve life at the School by the Sea. Today, Tabor is excited to announce Julian Badger and Taylor Darby as the 2024 Co-Heads of School.
Congratulations to Tabor’s graduating Co-Heads, Aliyah Jordan, and Liam Houck. Thank you for all your efforts this year, and for leading the way for Julian and Taylor.
