International Week Traditions
- Along Front Street
A much-loved tradition — International Week returned this year to the delight of the Tabor community. International week is an annual festival when students celebrate various cultures from all around the world.
One of the highlighted events from the week was Yaya Ma '21 playing clarinet and performing Northern Jiangsu Variations, by Wu Zhang during Virtual Chapel. Two exotic meals were served in the dining hall, which featured a Caribbean Dinner with delicious dishes from the Islands, and a Korean Kimchi night. "Did You Know" slides were on display around campus to test Seawolves' knowledge of cultures near and far. And the week closed out with a community favorite, the faculty-student Badminton Tournament.
This event is always a community favorite when the diverse backgrounds of many students are recognized and celebrated. Through exposure to some new sights, sounds, tastes, and events, we hope that our students can connect and experience something new together, learning all the way.
