Campus Culture

A Place for You to Belong

At Tabor, we know it is the people who create great learning environments. Inside and outside the classroom, our students have created a caring culture that allows them the courage to share their interests,– talents, and ideas freely. At a place where you can be you while always being one of us, the possibilities are endless.

Campus life is where it all starts – and where some of your most satisfying growth will happen.

It is the people that make the place

With students from all over the world, and all over the country, Tabor is a community in which all members have a voice, are respected, and see their identities reflected and affirmed. At Tabor, we support each other in all we do. Find out more about inclusivity and community life

We enjoy being together

The Tabor community is the heart and soul of our school and truly sets us apart. We gather three times a week at Chapel, Class Meeting, and All-School Meeting to celebrate achievements, share news and meals, and to plan and reflect on our goals together.

Our dorms are our homes

A community of small dorms (our largest has just 32 students!) anchors the Tabor boarding experience and gives students the opportunity to live with peers from all over the world. With two to three faculty families in residence in most dorms, there is always an open door and a friendly face to welcome students home after a busy day.

Weekends are fun and relaxing

We balance hard work with fun and time to relax and unwind on weekends. Whether you prefer large social gatherings, exciting sporting events or quiet studio time, you’ll always look forward to weekends at Tabor.

Day students are always included

Day students integrate seemlessly into our close-knit, diverse school community, engaging fully at Tabor from breakfast until evening check-in 7 days a week. They can even sleep over now and then, if they so desire!

Tabor takes energy: Eat Well, Stay Well

From gluten-free options to a wood-fired pizza oven, from salads to s’mores to international cuisine, there’s food for every taste in our seaside dining hall boasting incomparable views of Sippican Harbor. This just the beginning of how we care for our students' health and wellness.
