Director of Acquisitions and Structuring at Enel Green Power North America (EGPNA)
Jessica Shor is the Director of Acquisitions and Structuring at Enel Green Power North America (EGPNA). Enel is a multinational power company based in Rome, Italy. In North America, EGPNA is the 5th largest owner of wind and solar power plants, operating 60 renewable energy plants that collectively produce enough energy to power 1.8M households per year. Jessica oversees acquisitions and sales of renewable energy projects, partnerships with capital providers and small project developers, and late-stage project development. Previously, Jessica managed EGPNA’s project finance team, originating and closing more than $4 billion of investments in EGPNA’s projects.
Jessica was ranked on the 2021 Top 100 Global Women’s Power List and the Top 100 North America Power List by A Word About Wind, a trade publication. She received her MBA from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and her BA from Yale University.
John P. Ciovacco '83, CGD
President of Aztech Geothermal, LLC
John P. Ciovacco, CGD, the President of Aztech Geothermal, LLC. often serves as a resource to building owners, developers, construction companies, engineers, architects and investors regarding the latest renewable and energy efficiency technologies, government incentives and financing options. He chairs the educational sessions at NY-GEO’s annual heat pump conference which is widely regarded as the largest and most comprehensive in the nation. He has been a registered party to seven public utility rate cases representing the New York Geothermal Energy Organization (NY-GEO) as a board member. John serves on the Advisory Board for HEET, a Boston-based group advocating building electrification through GeoMicro Districts installed by existing gas utilities. Recently he was appointed to the NYS Department of Public Service’s Strategic Advisory Group for Building Electrification to help guide policy and regulations needed to meet energy and climate goals for New York.
John is an Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Certified GeoExchange Designer (CGD), International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) Accredited Installer (AI), a Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certified Contractor, and a Certified Green Professional with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). He received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.
Parker Littlehale '96
Manager, Wholesale Power Supply at Eversource Energy
Parker Littlehale is Manager, Wholesale Power Supply at Eversource Energy, New England’s largest electric and natural gas delivery company. In his position at Eversource, he is a member of the Evaluation Team selecting clean energy and offshore wind projects for power purchase agreements (PPAs) under Massachusetts Section 83D and 83C. Going forward, he will be responsible for procuring power supply and Renewable Energy Credits for Massachusetts and New Hampshire customers who have not chosen a competitive power supplier. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and has a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University.
Chris Benzak '93
Managing Partner, Newport Biodiesel Inc.
Chris is excited to be a part of the clean energy future of New England. He has worked since 2007 to expand the restaurant network at Newport Biodiesel in order to divert used cooking oil into renewable clean burning fuel production. Chris enjoys chasing his wife and three children around their home in Newport, Rhode Island on and off the water. Chris is also interested in land and other resource management projects in Rhode Island. He is a graduate of Boston College ’97.
Lawrence H. Mott '80
Transmission Development Manager, Ocean Winds
Lawrence H. Mott is the Transmission Development Manager for Ocean Winds, an offshore wind developer currently developing fixed and floating wind projects in Europe, Asia and North America. Lawrence is focused on Transmission and Grid connection efforts of the Mayflower Wind Offshore JV (Ocean Winds & Shell). Mayflower Wind has secured 1200 MWs of contracts to deliver to Massachusetts. Other efforts include OW development in New York, California. He has been in the renewable energy industry for more than thirty-six years. Prior to joining Ocean Winds, he has held a number of leadership positions including Project Director at Anbaric on offshore grids and windfarm integration, Director at the independent engineering firm SgurrEnergy Inc. (Wood PLC), Senior Projects Manager at wind farm developer First Wind, and Technical Director at Northern Power Systems; a wind turbine and power systems group. Mr. Mott has development, finance, and construction experience with on and offshore wind, large solar, and battery storage.
Mr. Mott has served as a board member to the American Wind Energy Association, and chair of the Renewable Energy Vermont Board. He holds degrees in Engineering and Business from University of Vermont.
