Tabor Academy's 1990 Varsity Sailing team achieved a record of 6-1 and their accomplishments on the biggest sailing stages made them one of Tabor's best sailing teams in school history. In the National Team Racing Championship (Toby Baker Trophy), led by Captains Josh Adams'90 and Geoff Ewenson '90, the squad swept the event with a 21-0 record, finishing 1st, 2nd & 3rd in 14 of the final 18 races. Through all their wins and individual successes, what truly made the 1990 Varsity Sailing team uniquely great was their commitment to teamwork as they embodied the grace of sportsmanship, with respect for each other and their competitors.
Several members of the 1990 Sailing team went on to be collegiate All-American sailors, ran Olympic campaigns and have been part of crews that have won class championships in their post-collegiate careers.
