The season included defeating non-league teams Brown University Intra-Fraternity Champions (60-51), Harvard Yard Champions (60-51), Otis Air Force Base All-Stars (63-54), and winning the Southeastern New England Prep School Championship b beating Portsmouth Priory (44-29), Providence Country Day (48-39) and St. George's (43-26); further positioning the team to then be invited to play in the All-New England Prep School Class "" Championship. In that tournament Tabor defeated Belmont Hill (51-50), ending Belmont's 55-game consecutive winning streak. The team then went on to defeat Cheshire Academy (60-52), earning the title All-New England Prep School Class "B" Champions.
The players of this team were a dedicated group of boys that bonded toward a common goal, the Class "B" Prep School Tournament. The team had a deep desire to improve every time they went on the court and relished the challenge of every game. It was their cohesiveness, camaraderie and sportsmanship that made them Champions.
