In that tournament Tabor defeated Belmont Hill (51-50), ending Belmont's 55-game consecutive winning streak. The team then went on to defeat Cheshire Academy (60-52), earning the title All-New England Prep School Class "B" Champions.
The players of this team were a dedicated group of boys that bonded toward a common goal, the Class "B" Prep School Tournament.
