Move, Train, Perform

Dance at Tabor offers students the opportunity to train, perform, and develop their creativity in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Open to both novice and experienced dancers, the program is offered as part of the afternoon schedule during the fall and spring seasons. Students train regularly and explore a range of styles while building technique, strength, and performance skills.

Program Structure

  • Meets five days per week during the season
  • Combines technical training with choreography and performance
  • Open to dancers of varying experience levels

Performance Opportunities

Each season culminates in a recital featuring group pieces and student choreography, giving dancers the opportunity to perform for the Tabor community. Students participating in dance during the spring season may be part of the competitive dance team.

Dance also plays a role in theater productions, including choreography for the winter musical and other performances.

Students interested in pursuing additional training may do so independently outside of Tabor.
