We have made the difficult decision to shift Reunion Weekend 2021 to a virtual celebration.
After conferring with colleagues on and off campus about the many challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, we do not feel that we can safely bring alumni back to Tabor this June. While this is disappointing news to many, a virtual celebration also brings possibility: for many of you, especially those living far from our School by the Sea, this might be your first opportunity to attend your reunion. And, as we all know, reunions are about more than memories or places. Ultimately, reunions are about reuniting with people – the friends, classmates, teammates, casts, crews, and faculty who make Tabor what it is, and what it always has been.
During the week of June 14, we will celebrate classes ending in 0s, 1s, 5s and 6s with a virtual celebration of compelling programing that includes Zoom-unions, the season finale of the Forecasters Series, Back to Class offerings, and cameos from retired and current faculty. The Alumni Relations Office, in partnership with the Alumni Council, wants to make this a very special event for all graduates in a reunion cycle. If you would like to volunteer for your class, or have interesting program ideas to share, we welcome your assistance. Eliza Kennedy ’10 is our point person for all volunteers (email@example.com
A full schedule of virtual events and registration instructions will be shared later this spring. In the meantime, we hope you will save the date for June 14-17
. See you on Zoom!
