Erin Bryant, Woods Hole Sea Education Association’s Associate Professor of Ocean Policy, introduced a new elective in Tabor's history and social sciences department: "Law of the Sea." At the end of the class, students presented on a course-related topic that piqued their interest.
On February 15 and 16, 2024, Tabor hosted its inaugural Winter Arts Festival. Highlights included a keynote presentation from Mark Parsons ’86, an art show reception, and the winter musical production of “Footloose!”
Tabor Academy’s art and literary magazine, Bowsprit, has been recognized as a superior magazine by the 2023 National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) program.
On Monday, January 15, school-wide programming was held in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Alumni Joby Branion ’81, Heather Huszar ’03, and Trinity Monteiro ’17, and former faculty Harold Bost and Carl Lovejoy were honored at the inaugural Martin Luther King Jr. awards.
Girls’ Soccer did not have to look far for their new head coach—Tabor Academy is excited to announce Nicole Fernandes '17 as the head coach of the program.

The Currents, Tabor’s alumni newsletter, offers our alums a glimpse into the many facets of the Tabor community, both on campus and off. Class notes, in print and online, serve as a forum for alumni to foster community and strengthen connections. These notes allow classmates to remain connected throughout the years following graduation and, as a result, contribute to and support the development of future Seawolves, programs, and places that constitute the Tabor experience.
