Tension issues: Fashion Upcycling Student Reflection

Today we all worked on our sewing skills. Jaden was working hemming a pair of jean shorts, and the final product was very impressive! Zoe and Sophia were altering T-shirts by cutting and hemming them into something new. Emma brought an old shirt back to life by designing it the way she envisioned it. She tried some new techniques like using elastic to gather the fabric. She is very proud of the way it turned out! I worked on setting up my new sewing machine, and hemmed the bottom of a shirt that I've been meaning to finish. It was productive day. We all made mistakes, leading us to learn something new!
