Ambitious and Adventurous

Applied learning has been the Tabor way since our earliest days when students hand-built plywood “batter boats” and raced them like legends. Fast-forward several decades later, we are still all about crafting agile thinkers who thrive on tweaking, refining, and improving their learning through iteration and collaboration.

Are you ready? Dive into our curriculum, no holds barred. Arts, engineering, sciences—you name, we have it. Apply your knowledge and develop your skills across the myriad learning and leadership experiences. With your team of ambitious go-getter peers and faculty mentors who have your back, you’ll discover more potential than you imagined. It’s time to push yourself farther than you imagined and make waves!

Our wide range of offerings covers all the bases, letting students dive into what interests them, explore their talents, and flex their thinking and communication skills across the curriculum.

Mentors for Success

The adults on our campus are the ultimate motivation team; they inspire our students to explore their interests and develop their passions, to stretch their capabilities and test their skills. As coaches, dorm parents, and academic and club advisors, our dedicated faculty are always here to encourage students to develop their minds and characters and reach for higher standards across campus life

Dive Deeper

We dive deeply into topics, hone our skills, debate, discuss, experiment, and reflect on our learning together. We use course content as the vehicle to amp up skill development; when students are encouraged to reflect and make connections between disciplines and topics, academic engagement skyrockets.

Research Informed Teaching Practice

We believe in fostering a growth mindset, for our students and our faculty, as we seek to learn together the most effective classroom practices.
