Diversity, Equity & Belonging
Tabor Academy DEB Commitment Statement
As Adopted by the Tabor Board of Trustees in October 2021
Tabor Academy commits to a diverse, equitable and inclusive community that is free from harassment, bullying, racism and discrimination in all forms. All members of our community are supported and treated with dignity and respect. We seek to understand and honor the experiences of all individuals and empower them to reach their full potential. We commit to an educational experience that embraces multiple perspectives, fosters empathy, and cultivates a strong sense of belonging. A Tabor education supports a culture in which differences of opinion and perspectives are encouraged through honest and respectful conversation. In doing so, we develop and nurture independent minds through open inquiry, critical thinking, and constructive dialogue.
