Encouragement and guidance are the mainsprings of motivation, and the development of this essential resource within each student is the basis of the academic program. Every effort is made to help the student discover that education can be an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
Tabor Academy Summer Program provides opportunities for children who are interested in course work for enrichment. The broad and diverse offerings are appropriate for students grades 3 through 10. Classes are kept small, to enable teachers to work closely with each student and are three weeks in length. Each course begins on the first and fourth week of the program.
Academic courses are completely optional for all children, but each summer most children choose to take one or two courses. (Students are encouraged to take no more than two courses because we believe that students of this age should also have time to enjoy vigorous outdoor activities). Please fill out your course choices on the application, which can be found on the forms page.
Courses are included in the residential fee. For day students there is an additional fee for each course taken. Please see the fees page or the back of the application.
