Squash teaches participants a variety of condition and stretching exercises, rules of the game, fundamental skills, and tournament play. Participants are introduced to the differences in a squash racket, ball and court, proper grip of racket, stroke techniques, footwork, and etiquette. Each activity period begins with a warm up run, a thorough stretching routine, followed by an instruction period, and game play that culminates in tournament play. Children are paired with players of similar talent, but also play more experienced players in order to raise and improve their game over time.
