Computers I
A course for students with little or no experience with computers who have the motivation to get started. The principle goal of the course is to become fluent with the HTML language. Other topics will be discussed such as computer hardware and introductory networking concepts.
Computers II
A course for students who have a strong grasp of the HTML language but wish to learn about the extensions such as DHTML, XML and JavaScript. While this class may not be using notepad to create web sites, FrontPage, our editor of choice, is very difficult to master without an understanding of what's going on behind the scenes. General computing topics will be discussed such as internet design, e-mail systems and computer hardware.
Computers III
This class is for older and more advanced students. All students must have a strong working knowledge of HTML and basic scripting skills. This class will jump right into PHP and MySQL web development, which will be the bulk of the class. Other concepts discussed and skills developed will be Linux, Samba, and Apache.
