Algebra II
An algebra student who seeks enrichment may elect this introductory course rather than an Algebra I Review. The topics covered are an extension of a first course, with greater emphasis placed upon the development of equation and problem-solving techniques. The elementary functions are studied, especially where that function effectively models some stated problem. Students are asked to verify their conclusions by the appropriate use of technology.
